For months , mummy has being complaining about backache and all my aunties told her that it was normal and that backache is one of the phrase that every woman will go through when they reach the age of menopause. So, mummy thought was normal. But I thought otherwise. I tried persuading her to go for a thorough check-up for months and finally, she went for a check up recently. The doctor too, told her that it was just a phrase of menopause that she is undergoing and told her that there isn’t a need for an x-ray. But my mum was still feeling pain though she took some painkillers so I forced her to request for an x-ray no matter what. After my mum took the x-ray, the doctor took a look at it in the computer and told her nothing was wrong. However, she still felt pain and there was this new Chinese bone specialist clinic located near my house so mum decided to go for a try. The bone specialist then told my mum that she has dislocated her bone and that coming for massaging each week would cure and he told mum better to take the x-ray film to show him so as to be sure of mum condition. Mum was supposed to go back on sat but she felt great pain yesterday so she went to the polyclinic to collect the x-ray film today to show the bone specialist. And, this time when she went back, the doctor at the polyclinic told mum that she has fractured the bone around her hips to her thighs and referred her to tan tock seng. When the bone specialist saw the film, he told mum that too but suggest that if there are other ways of curing, do not opt for an operation. That bone specialist is damn nice and didn’t charge mum money. He even told mum that whatever treatment TTSH ask mum to undergo, it is better to consult him so as to choose the better option.
So, from today onwards, I’m in charge of all the house chores. Poor me. hahaha
Hopefully, mum will get well by dec. =)
